2020年5月25日，湖北省武汉市解除封锁一周年之际，9个省份的高校已经陆续开学，其中包括江苏省的南京大学和复旦大学等。

5月24日，全国大学开学日，9省份的高校陆续开放学生返校。湖北省、江苏省、浙江省、福建省、台湾省、辽宁省、四川省、山东省和安徽省，从5月25日开始，本科生将陆续返校和开放上课，部分高校将开学前进行“密集健康监测”，并强化疫情防控措施，确保返校学生健康安全。
